Lilypure Essentials is the product of a "back-to-basics" attitude regarding the way we take care of ourselves and our homes.  After doing some research about how we are all constantly exposed to toxic chemicals in almost every aspect of our daily lives, and the potential consequences of that exposure, we felt compelled to find better, greener and safer alternatives to a handful of products we all use on a regular basis.  So we went to work, just playing around with a few recipes that use coconut oil as a base for things like lotion, deodorant and lip balm.  What we ended up with was a pretty nifty line of skin, hair and home products that are 100% natural, mostly plant and/or mineral-based, and completely free of questionable or downright harmful chemical ingredients.  As you read the ingredients in our products, you'll recognize and be able to pronounce each and every one, not to mention that you can often count on ONE hand the number of ingredients in each item.  We believe that sometimes less really is more, especially when "less" means no parabens, phthalates, SLS, propylene glycol, EDTA, synthetic dyes or formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. . . . .EVER.  When you use a Lilypure Essentials product, you can rest easy knowing that it will be safe and effective for you, your family and the environment.  Whenever possible, we use certified organic ingredients and all our containers are readily recyclable.  It gives us peace of mind making these products for you, and we hope that using them brings you the same.
